CVA’s OPTIMA V2 is modeled after their Accura V2 model and features the same trigger-guard actuated breeching lever, internal parts, and trigger. The Optima V2 barrels are constructed of 416 grade stainless steel, and are offered in either their state-of-the-art Nitride rust-proofing process or in standard stainless. With a CrushZone recoil pad, CVA’s Quick-Release Breech Plug (which is finger removable) and a 100% ambidextrous synthetic stock you get more features in one package without having to pay an arm and a leg. This .50 caliber muzzleloader is equipped with a 26″ barrel and it comes standard with CVA’s solid aluminum PalmSaver ramrod and either a DuraSight DEAD-ON one-piece scope mount or a set of fiber optic sights.
